Haiku to our lost Green Books
Long night up ahead—
If I look back, I am lost.
(Ice-cold Coke Light helps.)
Habangbuhay, ako sa iyo’y maghihintay…
That moment when the students’ room in Nuestra Sra. Del Rosario Ward looks like a prison cell.
Things I have realized today.
At sasayaw kami.
- Na I only have ONE WEEK to make my lit thesis on Roald Dahl’s stories, and fuck this, I don’t even have research questions yet.
Kind of reminds me of my RLE group.=D
Our Lit prelims presentation.
In which:
- Yanyan and Nico were the very definition of mania, and
- Patrick and I were the very definition of major depression.
- Elainne was a yaya with a perm fit for a doña, and
- RLE4 walked around singing High School Musical for a week.
- Patrick wore Dad’s stolen parade uniform, and
- Francis was not a credible ghost version of Patrick.
- (Or does this only mean Patrick is really better-looking in death so we should kill him now?)
- Our version of Song to Celia grossed the audience out instead of romancing them, and
- The four Crones of Death during Break, Break, Break creeped the shit out of everybody.
- My dress changed from pure white to black, to black, to black, and
- I didn’t miss the irony of playing a suicidal person at a time when I am finally no longer suicidal.
Thank you to Nicole for the video and Kevin for the commentary.
THAT MOMENT WHEN THE CI SAYS, “NEXT FRIDAY NA KAYO MAGPASA NG REQUIREMENTS.”
The only consolation to be had was the feel of the chilly air on my bare skin.
There are few things in this natural world I love more than the bitingly cold winds atop a mountain.
